This course concerns senior students (Fifth year) in computer engineering (ISI) and data science & AI (IASD). It is mainly concerned with advanced conceps in AI such as neural networks, fuzzy systems, genetic algorithms, ML, deep Learning, and swarm intelligence.
Section breakdown will emphasize on basics, then focus on new trends in each concept. Neural networks basics will serve to introduce deep learning. Fuzzy logic will be extended to fuzzy systems, fuzzy inference systems, and finally on hybrid intelligent systems.
Regarding genetic algorithms, this will introduce genetic programming, and several application domains.
Finally, some popular swarm intelligence tools such as PSO, ACO, BCO. Such optimization tools will be performed on typical application domains so to demonstrate their capabilities.
